Thank you to our students and staff for showing up in pajamas and with big hearts for PJ Day for the Kids at Connecticut Children’s. Your generosity and school spirit made a meaningful difference for children battling cancer across our state.

Students from Grade 5 through Grade 8, along with our two talented Old Saybrook High School choirs, filled the auditorium with a beautiful blend of holiday classics, pop culture favorites, and traditional choral arrangements.
Their voices, confidence, and joy lit up the stage, a true reflection of the hard work of our music educators and the supportive community cheering them on.

We’re thrilled to share that 11 OSHS students are diving into the Electric Boat NextGen Boat Program, gaining real-world, hands-on experience in some of the region’s most in-demand trades!
Since November 24, our students have been attending experiential learning sessions at Grasso Tech in Groton, with three more sessions ahead at Rhode Island Community College in Westerly. Even better — they represent all four grade levels at OSHS, and for the first time in program history, we have three female students participating!
Throughout the program, students are exploring six high-demand career pathways at Electric Boat:
Welding
Ship Fitting
Machining
Pipefitting
Electrical
Sheet Metal Fabrication

Following the discussion, our Culinary Arts students hosted a delicious breakfast for the veterans, and the band and chorus closed the morning with a heartfelt performance in their honor.
We are deeply grateful to our veterans for their courage, sacrifice, and service, and to our students and staff for helping make today such a meaningful celebration of gratitude and respect.
Old Saybrook Girls Soccer will play Canton in the CIAC Class S Semi-Final on Wednesday, November 12th at 6:00 pm. The game will be played at Glastonbury High School. All tickets must be purchased online via GoFan. No cash will be accepted at the gate. Let's fill the stands and support the Rams!
The Harlem Wizards are coming back to Old Saybrook on November 24 at Old Saybrook High School! Come join the fun as the Harlem Wizards take on the Old Saybrook All Stars!
