After a combination of cash and online donations for PJ Day 2023, students and families of Old Saybrook Schools have raised a total of $1,589 for the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. The money will be sent in the coming days and the even better news is that donations are still coming in, so the total continues to rise. Our art supplies drive (shown in the attached picture)was also extremely successful and items will be delivered to the hospital soon as well. In addition, holiday cards that were made by students at Goodwin will be delivered to the children at CCMC.
Special thanks to Casey Rowe, Sarah Bernhardson, James Hespeler, Emily Davis, and Matt Shae for all of their support and roles in the schools that helped make the day a huge success. Also, to our OSHS Health Club members who worked hard to promote the event and encourage participation. And lastly, special thanks to all the faculty and staff who participated and/or donated.
