The board is continuing our due diligence to hire the best candidate as our next superintendent as we move ahead with more interviews. Selecting a superintendent is the most important decision that a Board of Education will make. We take this charge very seriously. Hiring and evaluating the superintendent is the board’s primary responsibility. The next leader will have a profound impact on the quality of education in our district for years to come. We are taking the time required to examine and evaluate the candidates to ensure they have the knowledge, skills, and competencies that best match the criteria provided by all of you and other stakeholders impacted by this decision.
