On the evening of February 1st, the Old Saybrook High School Performing Arts department presented Zadok the Priest as part of their Major Works Festival. The evening included Chamber Orchestra, G.F. Handel, and other Baroque period work. Performers from OSHS included the Gold Chorus and Blue Chorus, Select Choirs, and Instrumental Ensembles. The evening also included a Cello Duet performed by two OSPS students. It was amazing to see our performing arts students playing alongside professional musicians and they sounded absolutely incredible. Congratulations to the student performers and to OSHS Performing Arts staff Dr. Jeremy Milton, Mr. Michael Alderman, Jeremy Taylor, and Laura Caruthers for putting on this fabulous evening. Thank you to all who attended and for those who generously donated to support our Music Activities fund, $950 in donations were made!
