Old Saybrook Public Schools will welcome nationally recognized speaker, bestselling author, and generational expert Mark C. Perna to Old Saybrook on Thursday, October 8, for a special community presentation focused on helping young people discover their passion, purpose, and potential.
Perna will present Unleashing Passion, Purpose, and Performance in Younger Generations beginning at 6:00 PM in the Old Saybrook High School Auditorium. The event is open to families, staff, local businesses, community organizations, and members of the broader Old Saybrook community. Child care will be provided.
The presentation will explore how adults can better understand and connect with younger generations, including what motivates young people, how they make decisions, and how parents, educators, employers, and community members can help them develop a stronger sense of purpose.
Perna is the founder and CEO of TFS Results and a nationally recognized expert on generational and performance issues. He has spoken to audiences across North America, has written for Forbes.com since 2019, and is the bestselling author of Answering Why.
His work focuses on building stronger connections between education, employment, and communities while helping young people recognize their potential and prepare for successful futures.
The October 8 program reflects Old Saybrook Public Schools’ continued commitment to engaging families and the broader community in conversations about how schools and communities can work together to support young people.
